Frequently asked

How do I add a plan?

Tap the + button (or New plan on iPad and an unfolded iPhone Duo). Give it a name, pick a time, a color and an icon, then tap Save. To mark it done, tap the circle next to it.

How does Hourfold work on iPhone Duo?

Folded, the cover screen shows the phone layout with Today, Calendar and Progress tabs. Unfolded, the month fills one half and the selected day the other. Half open, the crease falls between them, never through a card.

Why am I not getting reminders?

Hourfold sends an alert when each plan starts. Check that reminders are on in Hourfold's Settings (the gear icon), and that notifications are allowed for Hourfold in the iOS Settings app under Notifications. Focus modes can also hold alerts back.

How do I change the style?

Open Settings (the gear icon) and pick a style: Studio, Paper, Editorial, Glass or Playful. Each one redraws the whole app. Studio also lets you choose light, dark or System, and one of six accent colors.

How do I add widgets?

Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Hourfold. The Agenda widget lets you tick plans off without opening the app.

What can I ask Siri?

Try "Add a plan in Hourfold", "What's on today in Hourfold" or "What's next in Hourfold". You can also find these in the Shortcuts app.

Where are my plans stored? Do they sync?

Your plans are stored only on your device, and they're included in your device's regular backup. Hourfold has no account and no server, so plans don't sync between devices.

How do I delete all my data?

Deleting the Hourfold app removes all of its data from your device. Nothing is stored anywhere else.
