Hourfold doesn't collect any personal data. This page explains what the app stores, where it's kept, and who can see it (only you).
What we collect
Nothing. Hourfold has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don't collect, store, sell or share any information about you. The App Store privacy label for Hourfold is Data Not Collected.
What stays on your device
To work as a calendar, Hourfold saves the following on your device only:
- The plans you create: their names, times, repeats, colors, icons and whether they're done.
- Your settings, such as your style, accent color and whether reminders are on.
Hourfold's widgets read this data through a shared container on the same device. It's included in your device's own backups, which are handled by Apple under your settings. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Reminders
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They're never sent through a server. You can turn them off in Hourfold or in the iOS Settings app at any time.
Siri and Shortcuts
If you use Hourfold with Siri, Apple processes your voice request under Apple's privacy policy. Hourfold only reads or adds plans on your device to answer it.
Purchases
Hourfold is bought through the App Store, and Apple handles the payment. We never see your payment details, and there are no in-app purchases.
Children
Hourfold is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data, it collects no data from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Any change that affects your data will also be explained in the app's release notes.
